It's been a long, cold, lonely winter, but ... I volunteered, I got vaccinated, I feel optimistic. PLUS: A Joyful Playlist / Celebrating Phil Lesh with one of the best shows I've attended.
I got my first shot on March 12 and my second will be April 9. Did not want it but I haven’t seen my kids or my 4 granddaughters in almost 3 years! Did it for them and hope to be in Ponte Vedra ASAP!!
it's a good thing! I was chomping at the bit to get it. We need it in ~75 percent of arms in USA and we'll be good. Enjoy your visit. You'll be about 4 days ahead of me.
Thanks for volunteering. Also, that Roseland show sounds nuts. I saw Jimmy play with Warren and Derek at Wanee 2013, and that was incredible. I'd love to see more spin-offs with that group of 3, particularly if it involves Jimmy's latest touring band (the 5 of 7) who are all stellar players.
The Roseland show was stunning. I was in an emotional state because I had just come from being with my father for major surgery but I was so moved. I sat in the balcony and cried several times. Powerful, powerful show. All stellar players, of course, but they also developed that special magic that the great bands have.
Nothing better than living 5 miles from Terrapin and getting an email that he will be playing a free happy hour show outside for 50 people. Can't wait to see the band playing live again.
Thanks for volunteering. My wife and I had COVID last March, and we still have strong antibodies. We are anxious to finally do some international travel, so we may get the J&J single dose if it will get us a certificate to avoid in and out testing.
Good for you Alan! I am going for my first vaccine on Thursday. Mule announced a CT concert today so yes live music is coming back. Peace, Love, Music!

2 years not 3 but still an eternity

Yeah, that's some place.
Congratulations on the shot. Hopefully we will get back to pre pandemic life later this year.

Yes. Check out the CDC guidelines. I believe it is still reccommended to get it. I know several people in your position have done so.
You might want to correct your post to say 11/30/01... my wife and I got our 1st vaccination last Monday. Congrats to you for getting yours today.
Yes indeed. Thanks for the catch. see you at a show!

Glad your goodness was rewarded! And yay for Oliver Lake!
Thank you. I looked at this card and said "there's saxophonist named Oliver Lake" and he said, "That's me!"
