What an incredible interview with Sam, Alan. Thanks so much for all that you continue to do to bridge the gap between my favorite musicians' stories and our own. Without a doubt, Sam's hearing isn't hurting. I think he addressed every question and nuance in your interview admirably, and whether he's 78 or 88, that's pretty good. : ^) A really great listen, thanks to you both. And I know that 3:30 AM wake-up feeling, only now I'll be looking harder on those early AM departures to see whether I might even be sitting next to one of my fav's out there and not even realize it. : )

Port Chester, I used to work there delivering furniture when I was a kid. Bet it's a nice, quaint venue, Feat has always played at some pretty cool spots. Sam's right, they never really did get their just due, because they are one of the all time greatest bands there is imho. Glad to see Bill still hanging tough, and the rest of them as well. They're carrying Lowell's torch well.

As a long time Little Feat fan thank you for this interview. Hearing from most of the members of the band over the years I can't remember ever hearing much from Sam. It's a great addition to the history of the band. I saw Little Feat play in Princeton either the night of or the day after Ed Bradley died. They played Time Loves a Hero in his memory that night which I thought was very cool. As a long time fan of this type of music I am deeply appreciative of your chronicling the music and the players who create it. Thanks again.
