For those of us there through Nugs, I could feel the intensity of the many moments. The Little Martha - Pasaquan Mt Jam Pasaquan - was my emotional high. I've heard it said that Pasaquan is our generations Mt Jam, so hearing them together was epic.
I was on the fence about driving 3 and a half hours each way. So glad I decided to go. Whole experience great. Incredible Mule set list. Venue was fantastic.
Finally got to see some of this Macon magic courtesy of YouTube. Headed to Macon on the 31st, All Hallows Eve. Planning to get to Kirk’s studio finally, adding it to our standard set list of Rose Hill, then mamma’s for lunch before a visit to The Big House. Now we’re adding West Studio, so it’s going to be a busy, but great day!
Thanks, is the website out of commission or is it the AWS issue? I’ll send an email. Sent one to Bailey and Richard already, but it looks like TBH is a full time operation now year round. Wasn’t always that way so kudos to the team and everyone who supports this priceless treasure of memories. I’ll be picking up our renewed membership lanyards too!
Eat Mo' Collard Greens, good fiber to soak up cholesterol! Cornbread too. To be a fly on the wall. Ever funky George Porter... he just kills on Robert Palmer.."Sneaking Sally Through The Alley"...glad to hear you meet Ben Sandmel...a Mos'Scocious SPLENDIFROUS Fellow...had to settle with Devon&Jimmy Hall@ Blues&BBQ Fest...Alan you gotta come to New Orleans...I have some Gumbo 4 Ya!
Was there also, wish we would've crossed paths. Have yet to make it to Mr. West's studio.Next time. What a show.
Living on the Gulf Coast,The Meters cut and Walk on Gilded Splinters were special also.
I've tried to explain their playing(not playing Mountain Jam )but find it difficult, beyond words.
To top it off I drove from The Coast to Cincinnati to pick up one of my dearest friends. We started seeing The Brothers together over 52 years ago.
As kids we skipped school and rolled 80 joints for The ABB show that evening. Threw them on the stage until Greg finally snagged one and set it in his ashtray. It was special seeing this show with him at ground zero, per se. A night I'll always cherish 🍄🎶🎵🍄🟫✌️☮️
Big fun! Macon is always such a wonderful time. 🍄

Yes. Coulda shoulda mentioned that. But I was literally up against my space limit.
So glad you could be there to celebrate Kirk. Where would we (the fans) be without this kind, giving man. Happy Bday Kirk!
Yes. Glad you understand that.

Great. Enjoy. Gallery West isn’t always open. Worth checking the website and sending an email. Kirsten will respond.
Couldn’t find the email address because the website is down. Messaged Kirsten through Yelp messaging app. 🤞

Thanks. Gilded splinters was off the hook. Good call. Wish we had met. I was at the Gallery most of Friday and Saturday and met so many there.
